Reseller Technical Warehouse

  • Search inventory by manufacturer serial number and intuitive internal serial number. Items automatically get a “unique” internal serial number that equals the Purchase Order and line item.  Perfect for printer parts or other parts where there is no manufacturer serial number to record and you still want to track part for warranty returns.  Barcode asset label may be printed and left on the each part for inventory audit and warranty tracking purposes.
     
  • Search items by keyword, string of characters, Model or Category. Sometimes you don’t know the part number but you know part of the model number, or the category. Search any string of characters in the description, part number model or category. Drill down to the serialized part inventory. Finds what you need quickly.
     
  • Record serial numbers before, during or after receiving. In many systems that are serialized it may take three or four clicks to attach each serial number to a particular product. After receiving many lock you out or make it even harder.  IQ reseller’s list screens allow you to scan in serial numbers for any purchase in split second scans… at anytime. Even after invoicing. 
     
  • Receiving flexibility for extra and short items. Purchases don’t always come in as ordered. Easily add line items to the purchase, record serial numbers, print barcode asset tags and locate. Sales or accounting can move amounts around to better distribute values on the purchase.  If items are short, purchase remains open until received or removed.
     
  • Snapshot of original purchase. Due to the flexibility in adding items to the purchase we maintain a purchase order “snapshot” that always shows you the original purchase in case there is a re-order or dispute.

  • Fastest Barcode serial number recording. Record 60 serial numbers in sixty seconds on 60 individual items with 100% accuracy. Items are presented in a list form, scan records serial number and drives cursor down the list to the next item. No clicks!  Other serialized systems require 2 – 4 clicks to record a serial number for each item. Low value parts you now are worth serializing with this kind of speed.
     
  • Barcode label asset tag generator. Asset tag any size and material you want.  Include company info, logo, condition code, part number, description, internal unique ID number, serial number, warehouse location, rep, and model. Use removable, permanent or “void if removed” labels.
     
  • Attribute recording capability. Record attributes on items with viewable and reportable fields for sales. They will know what attributes items have without calling the warehouse. Saves hours of data entry into comments or spreadsheets that are non-reportable.  Attributes work well for any machine that you want more information on but do not want to track each feature part number. Printer interface types, for example could be USB, Serial, Parallel interface.
     
  • Attribute menu field templates visible and reportable for each asset. Attribute field menus let you know search and know how many units you have by attribute. For example an inquiry might be how many laptops do you have with 1.2 GHz, to 1.8 GHz, 512MB to 1 GB, CDRW, and 1.44 Floppy. Attributes for each serialized item could be exported to your E-commerce store.
     
  • Unlimited warehouses and locations for individual items. Create virtual warehouses for consignment inventory with specific locations within your warehouse. Each inventory part number may be stored in multiple locations and warehouses.  Relocating parts is a simple three click process: Barcode Scan serialized inventory allocation. Scan and allocate items to any sale relieving them from inventory and providing tracking on a serialized basis.
     
  • Barcode Scan serialized shipping validation. If salesperson has specified a specific item or serial number, barcode scan at shipping point will validate staff has selected the correct item from stock.  Prevents shipping the wrong item or the wrong quantity since each item is validated uniquely.  Takes into account substitute items possibilities as well.
     
  • Barcode Scan allocate any item or substitute item to sale. Logic knows what subs are eligible for a sale allowing seamless allocating of substitute to sale for shipment. Check outgoing product label feature for substitutes as well.
     
  • Outgoing product/ box label when shipping substitute items. Print professional box labels for each item that have complete order information on them.  Customer P.O., item number ordered, description and serial number or model number.  Use to create professional shipments similar to an OEM look.    Perfect to use when shipping substitute product; label will print in the part number customer ordered but use the serial number of substitute part shipped.  Print 2 and place on Exterior Box and interior bag to correctly identify as the part number customer ordered.  Can print any size 1” X 2”, 1” X 3”, 1” X 4”, 2” X 4”.
     
  • Notes for each item i.e. Cracked face plate, dented, noisy. Notes allow you to account for various conditions important to the buyer.  A cracked face plate might be insignificant to a particular buyer that just cares about functionality. Notes let you know without calling the warehouse or walking back to look around. Enter notes at anytime at receiving or in the inventory list.
     
  • Shipping Log. Know immediately when Sales orders are entered or updated. No need to wait for someone to walk back with an order, or print 4 revisions to an existing order. Log shows what items need to go out when with up to the minute revisions. Print a pick list and use IQ resellerShip integration to ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS.
     
  • All parameters for the shipment flow into the waybill from the sale order. Ship To, Ship From, COD, insurance amount, even tricky “Blind” shipments are handled properly. Warehouse personnel picks and ships order parameters prefill waybill.
     
  • Eliminates shipment re-entry of information and mistakes. “prior shipment dropdown menus” in WorldShip and PowerShip create mistakes where busy warehouse personnel can easily select a drop down address to San Diego when it should have gone to San Jose, or enter costly incorrect service types such as 2 day when it should be Overnight AM.
     
  • No Missed orders. Shipping log clearly shows orders that need to go out each day if paperwork is lost order will remain in the log be noticed and pick list reprinted until shipped. At shipment printing of the waybill, customer is notified via email, Sales order and Invoice are also updated with all shipment information. Eliminates cutting and pasting tracking information and salespeople calling warehouse looking for tracking or status of shipments.
     
  • “Blind” ship and “Double Blind” capability. Execute labor intensive “Blind Shipments” in a snap.  Defaults your Customer name at the top of the waybill their customer in the Ship to address. Bill to any account including a third party. Packing list is created with your customers name in the Ship from and their customer name in the Ship to No need to wait for a customer supplied packing list or manually create one. The warehouse needs to do nothing but select process shipment.
     
  • Wirelessly locate or relocate products within the warehouse. IQ resellerMobile performs live updates with the database on any PDA scanner or device capable of generating a web browser.  Relocate product with a couple scans. Remove parts from product, Build up and Breakdown wirelessly on a PDA device.
     
  • Part removal. Move cost from "parent" asset to removed "child" asset. Eg. A $3200 Cisco 6500 Chassis power supply is removed, transfer $160 to power supply in seconds.  Easy accounting, controlled by user access for the part being removed allows you to depreciate machine cost as parts are being removed.
     
  • Part removal from asset with automated reporting in 10 seconds. When part is removed, notes are stamped for that serialized parent item what part was removed and when by who and at what cost.  This protected audit trail keeps track of the inventory without manual effort.  When reselling machine you will know exactly what is missing.
     
  • Flexible Bill of Materials, (BOM) parts list templates. Two clicks from a sales item lookup is the Bill of Materials which interfaces with inventory and tells you how many complete machines or assemblies you can build and what parts you are short.
     
  • BOM templates are used to quickly Build up or Breakdown Machines. Parts can be quickly traced by serial or internal ID back to any machine that was built up or broken down for warranty purposes. Parts used in build ups or available from a break down are adjusted on the Maxlist inventory link immediately. The first set of screen shots show the build up.
     
  • Breakdown automation based on BOM templates. Quickly break a machine or assembly into parts and have a pre-set percentage cost distribution from the Parent item to the parts. Amounts distributed can be changed on-the-fly during the breakdown to correspond with market values.
     
  • Add, remove parts during breakdown. Flexible templates let you add or subtract parts and features on-the-fly in the middle of a buildup or breakdown. A server could have many features, add-ons, or 3rd party products in that need to be accounted for without the rigidity of a fixed BOM template.
     
  • "Where Used" Tab. Displays what machines contain requested part and how many you have.
